There is WAY too much information available about URINE THERAPY...but of course Mom told us the story about Avi peeing, and Molly stating that urine is STERILE.
Ironically, I agreed! So we had to look it up. The SCARY thing is...there's a LOT of information available about URINE and drinking it, treating wounds with it....but most sources agree that URINE itself is sterile, but it picks up bacteria from the surrounding skin when it exits the body!

HA!...In your face, Mom!!! I told you that urine is sterile!!! Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

Urine is sterile if it goes through a catheter. Read above carefully. When the urine touches skin it picks up bacteria.
